The kids are spoiled

Just a side now about the kids in the middle of my vacation posts. Our kids are definitely spoiled when it comes to travel accommodations. I remember as kids staying at some very basic cabins when we went on vacation.

When we walked into our hotel room in Lincoln on our way out to Colorado, Ellie asked, "Where's the kitchen?" We usually stay in a suite that has a kitchenette in it because then we can put the kids to bed and still be able to be up. I don't think she's ever seen a regular hotel room (at least not one she remembers).

Then in Divide, she decided that the cabin was too old because there were too many bugs inside. The cabin really wasn't old but it wasn't built in the last 5 years either. And Ellie is deathly afraid of spiders.
